Advantage™ Bathing System · For Skilled Nursing & Higher Acuity

See It. Feel It. Smell It.

The Advantage™ Bathing System — built for skilled nursing and higher-acuity care, where bathing is the hardest task in the building.

Not just the bath room. The hallway. The cafeteria. The lobby. What happens in your bath room travels — and everyone who walks through your door already knows what kind of care happens here.

Typically $16–27K configured · exact price at quote

Apollo Advantage Bathing System with reservoir in a skilled care bathing room
The Bath Room Sets the Tone

Two Versions of the Same Building

You know what bad looks like.

The transfer that takes two people and still feels wrong. The tub that takes 15 minutes to fill while the next resident waits in the hall. The smell that follows someone back to their room — and then into the hallway, the cafeteria, the lobby. Families feel it before they find their person. Surveyors smell it before they open a single door. Prospective residents decide on the tour and never say why.

You also know what good looks like.

The finish on a resident’s face when the bath is done. The spa room that actually feels like one. The smiles — from the resident, from the caregiver, from the family who walked by and heard nothing wrong. The lift in the building that happens when bathing stops being something people dread. That version exists. Apollo has been building the equipment that creates it since 1978.

What Your Care Team Gets

What Changes When Your Equipment Is Right

The Problem

Skin tears and staff injuries don’t happen mid-bath. They happen at the transfer — the lift, the pivot, the two-person maneuver your team performs while your resident is at their most frightened.

The Advantage Answer

Level Glide™ Transfer System

Your resident stays fully seated from wheelchair to tub. No lift, no pivot, no second caregiver for most transfers. Your caregiver guides — nobody carries. See which residents an end-entry tub fits.

Prefer your current lift? Order the Lock-In configuration — no Level Glide required
The Problem

A tub with a door can’t start filling until your resident is inside it — seated, exposed, watching the water slowly rise while a caregiver stands and waits. Every bath, every day.

The Advantage Answer

Rapid Fill™ Reservoir

Pre-heated water releases in 60 to 90 seconds — full volume, safe temperature. One option that solves the experience problem and the time problem at once, for the resident and the caregiver beside them.

The Problem

A whirlpool recirculates bathwater the entire time your resident soaks. Between-bath cleaning addresses the tub — nothing addresses the water while the bath is actually happening.

The Advantage Answer

Remedy® UV Water Purification

Runs UV-C light through the bathwater during the bath — purifying water in real time for a cleaner bathing environment. No extra step for your staff.

Available on select Whirlpool models
Standard on Every Advantage

ThroughClean™ — cleaned from the inside out.

Level Glide, Rapid Fill, and Remedy UV are options you configure for your facility. ThroughClean is not optional — because proper cleaning shouldn’t be either. Conventional whirlpool tubs get cleaned from the outside in. Every Advantage — AirSpa and Whirlpool alike — cleans from the inside out. And running Apollo liquids does double duty: about a case a month extends your warranty from 3 years to as many as 8. See how the ThroughClean whirlpool tub cleaning system works.

The CDC-Recommended Two-Step Protocol

STEP 1Turbo Clean™ detergent metered through the internal plumbing and jets — addressing what surface cleaning can’t reach
STEP 2Cid-A-L™ II, an EPA-registered quaternary disinfectant, applied per label directions to complete the protocol
Daily Care

Leave the Door in the Right Position Between Baths

Apollo door seals are dual gaskets extruded from EPDM neoprene. Like any sealing component, they hold whatever shape you leave them in — including “compressed.”

Advantage™ tubs: leave the door open, or closed without latching or sealing it, when the tub is not in use. Don’t leave it shut and sealed — that keeps the gasket compressed continuously and wears it out early. It’s a thirty-second habit that protects the sealing system for the life of the tub.

Configure for Your Facility

AirSpa or Whirlpool? The Advantage Does Both.

Apollo builds the Advantage in both AirSpa and Whirlpool configurations. Both are full Advantage systems — same platform, same transfer options, same cleaning system, same fill technology. You are not choosing between a premium system and a lesser one. You are choosing between two different jet types. Some facilities have already decided on AirSpa. Some have a strong preference for whirlpool. Both are the right answer for the right facility, and Apollo is not a whirlpool-only company.

The one meaningful difference between the two configurations is the Remedy® UV system — available on Whirlpool models only, because it requires water recirculation to function. AirSpa does not recirculate water, which means there is no internal plumbing loop between uses. Both approaches are legitimate. Everything else — Level Glide™, Rapid Fill™, ThroughClean™, the Digital Weigh Scale, and Color Panels — is available on both configurations.

Tight on Space?

If your bathing room is 10 feet or more in length, the standard Advantage configuration is likely the right fit. Working with less? Reach out before assuming the system won’t work. The Advantage is available in a Space Saver configuration across all models, and our team reviews room layouts and drawings to find the right fit.

Has Your Facility Moved to Showers Only?

It happens — and there are real reasons facilities make that shift. But occasional tub bathing, even once a week, changes the experience for residents who want it. Warm water immersion does things a shower doesn’t. If your facility is reconsidering what a bathing program could look like, we are worth a conversation.

Love Your Lift? Keep It.

Some care teams trust their floor or ceiling lift and don’t want to change what works. The Advantage orders in a Lock-In chair configuration built to pair with your existing lift — same tub, same ThroughClean™, same Rapid Fill™. It’s one or the other: we think Level Glide™ is the superior transfer, but the choice is yours. No force.

Your Facility. Your Census. Your Configuration.

Options & Specifications

More than 80% of facilities choose Rapid Fill reservoir models — and two configurations, the WP6000B and AS6000B, account for roughly 70% of all Advantage units sold. And the 90-second fill changes the entire bathing schedule.

What Facilities Are Saying After Year One

“Our tubs are wonderful. We have four Apollo tubs in our facility and we give about 600 baths per month. Many people could not stay at home without this service. Our tubs are very reliable. They are also easy to service when needed.”

Chris JacksonVP Building & Grounds · St. Ann Center, Milwaukee

“Our residents just absolutely LOVE this tub! We had some residents that were a bathing challenge to say the least — when we introduced them to the whirlpool tub, we no longer have them refusing baths. Great success for our nursing staff.”

Paula Turner, RN, DONDirector of Nursing · Life Care Center of Carrollton

“We had skin tears almost weekly on various residents due to the difficulty of getting into the old tub. Now we have no skin tears related to the whirlpool. We also have not had any staff injuries with transferring into the new tub.”

Karen Snavely, RN, BSNResident Care Director · Heartland Park Senior Living

“The residents that had a chance to use the tub so far have summed it up with one word — WONDERFUL! The staff appreciate the ease and also the quietness of the tub.”

BarbAdministrator · Bethany Pines

“Thanks so much for setting up the Apollo Tub for us and giving our staff the in-service on the function and cleaning of the tub. This tub has been extremely beneficial to our staff and residents.”

Larry NannyAdministrator · Eureka Nursing Center

“Our Apollo tub has served our facility well since we installed it 8 years ago. We went back to strictly using Apollo skin care and cleaning solutions with our system. We would highly recommend the Apollo Bathing System and Apollo Solutions for any nursing facility.”
