  • Custom Senior Living Bathing Solutions

    Custom Senior Living Bathing Solutions

No two senior care facilities are the same.

A 120-bed skilled nursing facility with high-acuity residents has completely different bathing needs than a 60-unit assisted living community where most residents walk in independently. A memory care wing needs a calm, predictable experience. A veterans home needs equipment built to last decades.

One bathing system doesn’t fit all of them. That’s why Apollo builds 18.

    Modular by Design

The Advantage™ Bathing System is Apollo’s flagship — and it’s modular from the ground up. Eighteen configurations. Every one built in Somerset, Wisconsin.

Modular means you’re not buying a fixed product off a shelf. You’re speccing a system that fits your space, your resident population, and your care team’s workflow. Door orientation, transfer system configuration, water purification options, cleaning system integration — each element is chosen for your facility, not assumed.

That sounds complicated. It doesn’t have to be.

We Help You Get It Right

Eighteen models is a lot of options. We know that. It’s also 47 years of learning what works in real facilities — and building the flexibility to match it.

When you work with Apollo, you don’t navigate the configuration alone. We ask about your resident mix. We ask about your space. We ask what your staff struggles with today. Those answers narrow 18 options down to two or three that actually fit — and usually one that fits best.

Getting the right system the first time matters. A bathing system is a long-term investment. We treat it that way.

Matching the System to Your Residents

Higher acuity, less ambulatory residents — skilled nursing, memory care, post-acute rehab

The Advantage™ is built for this population. The Level Glide™ Transfer System moves residents from wheelchair to tub without a difficult lift. Staff guide the chair directly into position — smooth, safe, and consistent every time. The Rapid Fill™ Reservoir pre-fills before the resident enters the room, so staff aren’t standing over a filling tub while a resident waits.

Eighteen configurations means the Advantage™ fits rooms that weren’t designed for today’s equipment — tight corners, older plumbing, non-standard dimensions.

More ambulatory residents — assisted living, independent living

The ReGen™ Walk-In Spa System is built for residents who can participate more actively in their own bathing. A wide, extra-strong door opens fully for easy entry. A heated seat adds comfort from the moment they sit down. The ReGen™ carries a lifetime warranty.

Direct Supply carries the ReGen™ AirSpa variant — available through your existing supply chain.

    Built for the Long Term

Apollo has manufactured bathing systems in Somerset, Wisconsin since 1978. The same facility. The same commitment to American manufacturing.

That matters for senior care operators more than most buyers realize. Equipment in a skilled nursing facility runs hard — multiple baths per day, years of use. You need a manufacturer who will still be there when you need parts, service, or a second system five years from now.

    We will be.

    A Cleaner Bath Every Time

Every Apollo system supports the CDC-recommended two-step clean and disinfect protocol. Turbo Clean™ removes organic soil first — step one. Cid-A-L II, an EPA-registered quaternary disinfectant, follows as step two. Apollo’s ThroughClean™ system meters cleaner through the plumbing and jets from the inside out, so staff don’t have to mix chemicals or skip steps when they’re busy.

The Remedy™ UV system, available on whirlpool models, purifies water during the bath — creating a cleaner bathing environment for every resident.

    Start With a Conversation

The right system starts with understanding your facility. We don’t quote before we listen.

Tell us about your resident mix. Tell us what’s working and what isn’t with your current setup. We’ll tell you which Apollo configuration fits — and why.

Every facility’s space is different. See how bathing system selection works when you’re starting from your existing room, not a blank slate.

Schedule a free Equipment Health Check — a 5-minute visit from our service team that documents your current setup and shows you what’s possible. Contact Apollo Bath here.

  • Apollo Bath Unveils New Airspa Version of the ReGen™ Tub, Expanding Choices for Enhanced Bathing Experiences

Apollo Bath Unveils New Airspa Version of the ReGen™ Tub, Expanding Choices for Enhanced Bathing Experiences

SOMERSET, WI – Apollo Bath, a leader in innovative bathing solutions for senior care and healthcare facilities, is excited to announce a significant product enhancement to its ReGen™ line of bathing systems. In response to customer demand, the ReGen line now includes an Airspa version, offering a gentle, bubbling air massage as a soothing alternative to the traditional whirlpool jet system.

For decades, Apollo Bath has been dedicated to creating safe, therapeutic bathing experiences. Until now, the ReGen line has focused on whirlpool models, which offer the deep, invigorating benefits of jet hydrotherapy. However, Apollo Bath recognizes that some users prefer the subtler, soothing experience of an airspa, where air jets create a relaxing, spa-like atmosphere without the stronger pressure of water jets. With the introduction of the Airspa version of ReGen, Apollo Bath can now meet this preference, broadening the appeal of its bathing systems for clients seeking both whirlpool (WP) and airspa (AS) options.

“We’re excited to offer both WP and AS models across our ReGen™ and Advantage™ lines, providing our customers with a broader selection to meet their unique needs,” said Zach Pappenhausen, CEO of Apollo Bath. “This enhancement underscores our commitment to delivering choice, comfort, and safety in every bath.”

The Airspa ReGen is available for pre-order in December, with full production set to meet anticipated demand. Healthcare facilities, senior living communities, and other clients can now tailor their bath installations further, ensuring they provide the most suitable and enjoyable experience for every user.

With this expansion, Apollo Bath continues to lead the industry in versatile, high-quality bathing solutions that promote relaxation, health, and hygiene for seniors and those in care settings.

For more information on the new Airspa ReGen or to place a pre-order, please visit Apollo Bath’s website or contact our sales team at 877-234-BATH.

    About Apollo Bath

Known for innovative features such as hydrotherapy and UV germicidal technology, Apollo Bath is dedicated to enhancing the quality of life for residents and care providers alike.

  • Showering and Bathing: Finding the Right Fit for Senior Care

Showering and Bathing: Finding the Right Fit for Senior Care

In senior care, hygiene routines are about more than cleanliness – they are critical to the safety, comfort, and overall well-being of residents. While both showering and bathing serve important purposes, bathing offers significant advantages for seniors and their caregivers. At Apollo Bath, we focus on providing advanced bathing systems that prioritize resident safety and comfort while minimizing caregiver strain. With solutions like the ReGen™ Tub and the newly introduced Airspa version, Apollo Bath delivers innovation and care in every system.

The Strain of Showers – Practical Challenges for Caregivers

Showers are often seen as a convenient option for senior hygiene. They’re typically perceived as quicker than baths, making them seem ideal for busy care routines. Features like grab bars, slip-resistant flooring, and walk-in access offer a degree of safety for seniors who can manage partial independence.

However, showers can create significant challenges for caregivers. For residents who require assistance, the confined space of a shower can lead to awkward, repetitive lifting and movements that increase physical strain. Supporting residents during a shower – while ensuring their comfort and safety – requires continuous effort that can take a toll on caregivers over time.

For residents, showers may not provide the same level of therapeutic benefits as baths. While a quick rinse can feel refreshing, it may not adequately address skin care needs or provide the soothing comfort many seniors require.

    The Unique Benefits of Baths

While showers are convenient, baths provide therapeutic benefits that cannot be overlooked. Warm water helps relax sore muscles and ease joint pain, making baths especially beneficial for seniors with arthritis or chronic conditions.

Bathing also improves circulation. The warmth of the water encourages blood flow, which can reduce swelling and support healing. For seniors dealing with physical discomfort, baths offer a soothing and restorative experience. Bathing offers physical, mental, and emotional benefits that are unmatched by showers.

    • Improved Skin Health and Deep Cleaning

The full immersion of a bath allows for better skin hydration and cleansing. Therapeutic products like Therasol™ Natural Bath Oil & Skin Conditioner can reduce dryness, soothe irritation, and leave skin feeling nourished. Regular baths can help prevent the discomfort associated with aging skin, making them an essential part of senior care.

    • Therapeutic Pain Relief and Relaxation

Baths offer a natural way to ease physical discomfort. Warm water relaxes muscles, reduces joint stiffness, and promotes circulation, helping to alleviate pain from arthritis or other chronic conditions. Seniors who experience hydrotherapy – like the gentle water jets in Apollo Bath’s ReGen™ Tub – report feeling a noticeable improvement in physical and mental well-being.

    • Enhanced Emotional Well-Being

Bathing transforms hygiene into a calming ritual. The soothing effect of warm water reduces stress, encourages relaxation, and provides a much-needed moment of peace. For seniors, this sense of comfort can contribute to better sleep and an overall positive outlook.

Choosing Between Showering and Bathing in Senior Care

How do you decide between showering and bathing for seniors in your care? The right choice depends on individual needs and preferences.

Seniors who prioritize speed and independence often prefer showers. These are ideal for quick routines that require minimal assistance while providing an energizing start to the day. On the other hand, seniors who seek comfort, relaxation, or relief from physical discomfort may choose baths.

Providing access to both showering and bathing options ensures that caregivers can address the diverse needs of residents. This flexibility is key to creating a care environment where everyone feels valued.

How Apollo Bath Systems Support Both Showering and Bathing

At Apollo Bath, we understand the importance of flexibility in senior care. That’s why our systems are designed to support both showering and bathing, making hygiene routines safer and more comfortable.

Our ReGen™ Tub exemplifies this commitment. It features a low step threshold, ergonomic seating, and advanced safety measures, ensuring accessibility for seniors of all abilities. These features make it easy for residents to enter and exit the tub independently or with assistance while feeling secure.

In addition to safety, the ReGen™ offers hydrotherapy options that provide both a quick rinse and a soothing soak. This versatility ensures caregivers have the tools they need to accommodate every resident’s preference.

    Discover the Airspa ReGen™ Tub

We’re thrilled to introduce the newest addition to our ReGen™ line: the Airspa edition. This innovative model brings a gentle, spa-like experience to senior care.

Instead of traditional whirlpool jets, which focus more heavily on deep, invigorating hydrotherapy, the Airspa ReGen™ uses bubbling air jets to create a soft and soothing massage. This feature is ideal for seniors who prefer a lighter touch, offering relaxation without intense water pressure.

Pre-orders for the Airspa ReGen™ began this month. With this new option, Apollo Bath continues to lead the way in showering and bathing innovation, offering both Airspa and whirlpool models to meet every need.

    Why Apollo Bath Stands Out

When you choose Apollo Bath, you’re choosing innovation. Whether it’s deciding between showering and bathing or exploring advanced features like hydrotherapy, our products deliver reliable and high-quality results.

The Airspa ReGen™ Tub is a testament to our commitment. It combines cutting-edge technology with thoughtful design, creating a solution that enhances the quality of life for residents and caregivers alike.

Showering vs. Bathing – A Choice That Matters

The choice between showering and bathing isn’t just about preference – it’s about creating the best possible care experience. Each option offers unique benefits that contribute to the well-being of seniors.

Apollo Bath makes it easy to offer both. With systems like the ReGen™ Tub and the new Airspa version, we provide solutions that empower caregivers, enhance safety, and prioritize comfort.

Employee Spotlight: Meet Scott Blaisdell, Technical Services

At Apollo Bath, we take pride in recognizing the dedicated team members who are the backbone of our success. This month, we’re thrilled to highlight Scott Blaisdell, our Technical Services specialist, who also handles on-site service and repair. Since joining us on October 8th, Scott has brought a wealth of experience and a passion for learning, problem-solving, and helping others, which is already making an impact.

With over 15 years of operational and technical experience, Scott’s career spans roles such as Operations Manager at Cross Country Freight Solutions and Valley Cartage, where he oversaw teams, developed systems to improve operational efficiency, and ensured seamless supply chain operations. His background also includes a tenure as a Correctional Sergeant, where he honed his leadership, training, and problem-resolution skills.

Scott is no stranger to working in high-pressure environments. As a U.S. Navy veteran, he developed meticulous attention to detail and discipline, which he now channels into providing top-notch technical support at Apollo Bath. His strong foundation in operations and technical acumen is a tremendous asset as we continue to expand and innovate in the senior care space.

When it comes to inspiration, Scott’s family is his biggest motivator. Helping people and the satisfaction of solving problems are equally important to him. His favorite quote, “A problem is only a situation that needs a solution,” reflects his proactive mindset and dedication to excellence.

Outside of work, Scott enjoys heading up north to Silent Waters in Holcombe, Wisconsin, where he and his family camp. Fishing is a favorite pastime, and in a surprising twist, winter is Scott’s favorite time of year—he loves the colder months and all the activities that come with them.

One of Scott’s most memorable moments with Apollo Bath so far was during the interview process. He recalls feeling an overwhelming sense of hospitality and being welcomed into the Apollo family, something he had never experienced at any other company. That family atmosphere is something Scott values and appreciates, and it’s a rarity he’s proud to be part of.

Scott is also pursuing a Business Management degree and is set to graduate next summer. His ambition is to help grow and develop Apollo Bath’s service department, expanding it to multiple regions and solidifying Apollo Bath’s reputation for quality and reliability. His experience and drive align perfectly with our mission to deliver exceptional service to our customers.

When asked about the culture at Apollo Bath, Scott describes it as friendly, professional, knowledgeable, and approachable. Everyone supports each other through clear communication and a strong team atmosphere.

Scott’s advice for new hires? “Ask questions, be assertive, and be proactive. No one will create your success for you, so go after it.”

We’re proud to have Scott on board and look forward to seeing his continued contributions to Apollo Bath’s growth and success!

  • Elevate Senior Care with the Benefits of Apollo Bath Systems

Elevate Senior Care with the Benefits of Apollo Bath Systems

Apollo Bath understands the unique needs of senior living communities. Our innovative bathing systems enhance safety, preserve resident dignity, and improve operational efficiency. As the industry leader for more than 40 years, the benefits of Apollo Bath systems elevate the senior bathing experience.

Our advanced bathing solutions were designed with your residents and staff in mind. The ReGen™ Walk-in Tub features a low step threshold, making it easier for residents to enter and exit the tub. This reduces the risk of falls and empowers seniors to maintain their independence. Additionally, the Advantage™ End-Entry Seated Bathing System also allows for smooth, dignified transfers, eliminating the need for uncomfortable lifts.

    Enhancing Operational Efficiency

Apollo Bath Systems improve efficiency for senior living facilities. The Rapid Fill™ Reservoir cuts tub fill time to less than 90 seconds, allowing caregivers to be more productive. Additionally, an integrated cleaning system also simplifies the disinfection process, saving staff time and effort.

Our modular, customizable design ensures that Apollo Bath Systems can be tailored to the unique needs of your community. From different facility layouts to resident needs, we can deliver a solution that works for you.

    Promoting Therapeutic Hydrotherapy

Bathing is more than just a routine task – it’s an opportunity to provide therapeutic benefits. Apollo Bath’s air spa and whirlpool features offer a relaxing, enjoyable experience that can improve residents’ overall health and well-being.

The whirlpool’s continuous warm water circulation can increase blood flow, reduce inflammation, and promote healing. Studies show hydrotherapy can also have a positive impact on mental health, helping to reduce anxiety and depression.

By incorporating these therapeutic elements into our bathing systems, Apollo Bath supports a holistic approach to resident care, addressing both physical and emotional well-being.

    Prioritizing Infection Control

Infection control is a critical concern in senior living. With that in mind, Apollo Bath has designed our systems to prioritize both hygiene and safety. Our Advantage™ Spa features a germicidal UV water purification system called Remedy®, which ensures the water used for bathing is consistently clean and safe.

This innovative technology helps senior living communities maintain the highest standards of cleanliness, reducing the risk of cross-contamination and the spread of harmful bacteria. When you choose Apollo Bath, you can trust that your residents are protected.

  • Senior Care Bathing Solutions: How Apollo Bath Makes a Difference

Senior Care Bathing Solutions: How Apollo Bath Makes a Difference

Senior care bathing solutions look different from facility to facility. But you can tell a lot about any bathing program in under ten seconds.

Walk into the bath room. Does it feel cared for or forgotten? Is the equipment in use or is it a storage area? Does it smell clean? Does it look like a place a resident would want to be?

Most administrators know exactly what we mean. The bathing room tells a story — about staffing, about culture, about how much the care team values that part of the resident’s day.

At Apollo, we’ve been walking into those rooms since 1978. Here’s what we’ve learned.

The Real Challenges Don’t Show Up in a Brochure

When we talk to Directors of Nursing and administrators, the conversation rarely starts with equipment specs. It starts with people.

Staff who are stretched thin and need a bath to go smoothly, not sideways. Residents who resist bathing because the experience has never felt safe or comfortable. Equipment that’s aging out but hasn’t been replaced yet. A bath room that was designed for a different era of care.

These aren’t equipment problems. They’re operational and human problems. The right senior care bathing solution helps solve them — but only if it fits how your team actually works.

What “Making a Difference” Actually Looks Like

We hear from care teams that two things change when they move to an Apollo system.

The first is time. The Rapid Fill™ Reservoir fills a tub in 60 to 90 seconds and pre-fills before the resident even enters the room. Staff aren’t standing over a filling tub. They’re with their resident.

The second is the transfer. The Level Glide™ Transfer System is the feature staff mention most. A dedicated transfer chair that integrates directly with the tub. No awkward lift, no risky transition, no two-person scramble. Residents feel it too — a smoother entry changes the whole experience.

When the bath itself goes well, residents ask for more of them. That’s not a small thing in a skilled nursing facility.

A Cleaner Bath Starts Before the Resident Gets In

Apollo’s Remedy™ UV system purifies water during the bath, creating a cleaner bathing environment for every resident.

After the bath, the two-step cleaning process matters just as much. Apollo’s Turbo Clean™ is a pre-disinfectant detergent that removes organic soil first — because a disinfectant applied over residue isn’t doing its full job. Step two is Cid-A-L II, an EPA-registered quaternary disinfectant, applied per label directions.

This follows the CDC-recommended clean-then-disinfect sequence. It’s not complicated. It just has to be done right, every time.

Senior Care Bathing Solutions Built for Your Resident Mix

No two facilities are the same. A skilled nursing facility with high-acuity, less ambulatory residents has different needs than an assisted living community where residents walk in independently.

The Advantage™ Bathing System is built for skilled nursing — 18 configurable models, $14,000 to $26,000, designed for residents who need more support. The ReGen™ Walk-In Spa System fits assisted living — a wide door, heated seat, and a more independent entry for residents who can manage it.

We don’t sell one solution. We ask about your resident mix first.

We’re There When You Need Us

Apollo is a manufacturer, not a distributor. We build in Somerset, Wisconsin and we stand behind what we sell.

On-site service and scheduled PM plans are available in Wisconsin, Minnesota, and surrounding areas. Silver plan covers one visit a year. Gold covers two. Outside that region we work case by case.

Every customer — new or existing, anywhere in the country — gets access to our live virtual training program. Sessions run from our demo room in Somerset via Microsoft Teams. Your care team sees the equipment operating in real time, asks questions, and leaves knowing exactly how to use and clean it properly. We record every session and send the recording to attendees. Everything also lives on the Apollo Bath YouTube channel so the new CNA who starts six months from now can train on her own schedule.

The free Equipment Health Check is available on-site within our service area or guided virtually for facilities outside it. Five minutes, no commitment, written summary of where your equipment stands.

    Start With a Conversation

When we visit a facility for the first time, we ask two things: tell us about your resident mix, and tell us what’s on your mind when it comes to hygiene care.

The answers shape everything. Resident mix tells us which system fits. What’s on your mind tells us what problem we’re actually solving.

Not sure which system fits your facility yet? Our bathing system selection guide walks through it by facility type, room layout, and staff workflow.

Schedule a free Equipment Health Check — a 5-minute visit from our service team that documents your current setup and shows you what’s possible. Contact Apollo Bath here.

Employee Announcement: Meet Beth Mendlik, Customer Success

At Apollo Bath, we pride ourselves on fostering a team filled with dedicated and inspiring individuals who are the heart of our operations. This month, we’re excited to introduce Beth Mendlik, our new Customer Success representative who brings 30 years of retail management experience and a fresh perspective to Apollo Bath.

Beth joined the Apollo Bath family just three weeks ago and has quickly become an integral part of our team. While she may be new to the manufacturing and healthcare industries, Beth’s extensive background in customer service and management makes her a perfect fit for her role in ensuring customer satisfaction. Transitioning to a new industry after such a long tenure in retail was driven by Beth’s desire for a fresh challenge. She knew it was time for a change, and Apollo Bath presented the perfect opportunity for her to grow and take on something new.

When asked about her motivation, Beth immediately credits her family—her husband Rob and their two sons, Wyatt and Kasyn. Their support and inspiration push her to excel each day, both at work and in life.

Outside of Apollo Bath, Beth enjoys spending time at her sons’ sporting events, including football, baseball, basketball, and trapshooting. In her downtime, she also loves reading and gardening—activities that provide her with balance and relaxation.

Since joining Apollo Bath, Beth has felt warmly welcomed and supported by her colleagues. This inclusive and encouraging environment has made her transition smoother, and she looks forward to learning more in her role and growing with the company.

Beth is excited for the years ahead with Apollo Bath, and we are thrilled to have her as part of the team. Her advice for new hires? “Everyone here has been incredibly welcoming, and if you’re joining the Apollo team, you’ll find the same support and encouragement that I did.”

Welcome to the team, Beth! We look forward to many more successful years together.
