Which Apollo system do you own?
This guide covers the Advantage line. Essence, G-Essence, ReGen and Solares run different part series, and an Advantage pump will not fit them.
Your model name and series sit on the system data plate. If the plate reads Advantage, keep going. If it reads anything else, or you cannot find the plate, contact our service team and we will identify the pump for you.
Two checks name the pump
You do not need a serial number, a build year, or your original paperwork. Two things you can see on the equipment settle it.
Check 1. Look at the front panel of the tub.
An indicator light on the front panel means the system has Remedy UV. No light means it does not. Remedy UV purifies the water during the bath, and the pump is matched to that configuration, so this is the first thing to settle.
Check 2. Look at the power cord on the pump.
A metal L-bracket holding the cord strain relief means the system was built 2009 to 2022. No L-bracket means 2023 or newer. The bracket tracks the build era, so this question works the same way whether or not you have Remedy UV.

The 2009 line is deliberate. Apollo changed the pump mounting pattern in the middle of 2008. Rather than ask you to pin down a month on an eighteen year old machine, we route all of 2008 to a phone call.
The Advantage parts manual CD0013 calls the no Remedy UV configuration DS. It is the same configuration under an older label.
Signs the whirlpool pump is failing
Staff tend to report one of a short list of symptoms.
- The jets run weak, or stop partway through a bath
- The motor hums but no water moves
- The pump runs hot or shuts down mid cycle
- The breaker trips when the whirlpool starts
Each of these can come from a clogged suction screen or a closed valve, so rule those out first. If flow is wrong with a clean screen and open valves, the pump is the next thing to look at. Electrical faults belong with a qualified technician, not a maintenance workaround.
Parts worth checking while the pump is out
A pump swap opens access to several parts that cost more time to reach on a second visit than they do today.
